Eleven years of lending in the Las Vegas, Henderson, and N. Las Vegas Market. I spent the first 6 years working for a direct sub-prime lender, and then decided to move over to the broker world to have more control on what type of programs I could offer my clients, and not have to charge each borrower a crazy amount. Since that time, I have been a mortgage broker, and within the first year of doing that became a team leader, managing over 15 loan officers.
I have since left that company, and now own a commercial mortgage brokerage, and remain a mortgage broker here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Short Bio. Well, most of that is explained in my 'experience in the industry' question. To leave off from where I was at earlier, I was at the top of my game, working for a company of over 500 loan officers, consistently being in the top 10, had a team of loan officers that worked for me of about 15, everything was going great.
Than the market started to die down a little...Than the broker we worked for decided to get bought out by First Magnus, who shut their doors three months later. I went to one other company before ending up at Envision Lending Group, and quickly for The Schwartz Group, which is a group of people who only work on my files, and focus on providing as many services as we can to realtors and other referral partners. We are also the first lender who is operating a Foreclosure Bus Tour that visits different neighborhoods each week all around the Las Vegas Valley including N. Las Vegas, Henderson, Green Valley, Central Las Vegas, Southern Highlands, and many, many other areas.
